Vintage Lee Engineering Variable Speed Motor with Angled Geared Transmission as shown in the photos. The Motor's speed range is 500 to 12000 RPM and is manually adjusted by the knob on the back. The motor drives a 4-1/2" diameter solid brass gear that is mounted on a 3/16" thick Stainless Steel Plate.

One prong on the Plug is damaged and should be replaced, but the Power Cord is in good condition and it still works as is. I'm not sure of the motor's rated horse power but estimate it to be around 1/8 to 1/16. With the variable speed and gear reduction ratio it can be made to rotate very, very slowly.
